Gujari Mahal Museum

Gujari Mahal Museum

While often categorized as a monument, the Gujari Mahal complex functions as an open-air museum of Tughlaq-era architecture. It was built by Firoz Shah Tughlaq for his queen, Gujari, using stones from ancient destroyed temples. The pillars and structures within the mahal are intricately carved, showcasing a unique blend of Hindu and Islamic styles. It is one of the most well-preserved archaeological sites in the city.
