Firoz Shah Palace & Fort (Hisar-e-Firoza)
Built in 1354 AD by Sultan Firoz Shah Tughlaq, this massive rubble-masonry citadel served as a strategic military outpost and a royal residence. The complex contains the famous Lat Ki Masjid (featuring an Ashokan pillar) and a series of underground chambers (tehkhanas) designed for cooling and storage. Originally, the fort was protected by a massive wall with four main gates: Delhi Gate, Mori Gate, Nagauri Gate, and Talaqi Gate.
