We are looking for an energetic and knowledgeable Tourist Guide to join our team in Hisar, Haryana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing engaging, informative, and safe tours for our diverse range of visitors—from history enthusiasts exploring the Firoz Shah Palace Complex to school groups and travelers visiting the agricultural landmarks of the “Steel City.” You will work to promote Hisar’s rich heritage, ensuring every guest experiences the best of our city’s culture and history.


Key Responsibilities

  • Tour Conduct: Lead engaging walking and vehicle-based tours of local landmarks, including the Asoka Pillar, Gujri Mahal, and Blue Bird Lake.
  • Storytelling: Deliver insightful commentary on Hisar’s history, from the Tughlaq dynasty to its modern-day status as an industrial and educational hub.
  • Guest Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of all tour participants, managing group dynamics and adhering to local regulations.
  • Itinerary Planning: Assist in creating and optimizing tour routes that highlight both famous sites and hidden gems within the Hisar district.
  • Cultural Liaison: Act as a brand ambassador for Haryana’s hospitality, providing recommendations for local cuisine, shopping, and transportation.
  • Customer Service: Address guest inquiries, resolve complaints professionally, and ensure a high level of visitor satisfaction.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on local archaeological findings, historical research, and new tourist attractions in the region.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Hisar’s history, local landmarks, and Harappan sites (like nearby Rakhigarhi).
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal communication skills in Hindi and English; knowledge of Haryanvi is a significant plus.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Natural ability to engage with people of all ages and backgrounds with enthusiasm and patience.
  • Navigation: Excellent knowledge of Hisar’s geography and the ability to navigate local routes efficiently.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to handle unexpected changes in weather, traffic, or site accessibility with a calm, professional attitude.
  • Certification: Valid regional or state-level Tour Guide License is highly preferred.

Experience & Compensation (Aligned with Hisar’s Market)
