IT Support Technician (Hisar Location)
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Technician to join our team in Hisar, Haryana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our local technological infrastructure and providing technical assistance to our diverse range of clients, from regional manufacturing units to fast-growing service providers in the Hisar district. You will work closely with our operations and network teams to ensure seamless hardware performance and software reliability that aligns with our commitment to uptime and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Provide prompt on-site and remote technical assistance for hardware, software, and peripheral issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, and networking equipment (routers, switches, and access points).
- Network Monitoring: Monitor local area network (LAN) and wireless connectivity to ensure stable performance across the office or client sites.
- Security Management: Implement and update antivirus software, firewalls, and data backup protocols to protect regional business assets.
- Software Deployment: Manage the installation and updates of OS (Windows/Linux) and essential business applications, ensuring license compliance.
- Inventory & Documentation: Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and user guides.
- User Training: Conduct basic orientation for staff on IT best practices, cybersecurity awareness, and the use of new digital tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of PC hardware, Windows/Linux OS, and basic Active Directory management.
- Networking: Practical experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and troubleshooting wired/wireless network connectivity.
- Diagnostic Tools: Proficiency in using remote desktop tools (e.g., AnyDesk, TeamViewer) and hardware diagnostic software.
- Problem Solving: Excellent analytical skills to identify root causes of technical glitches and implement long-term fixes.
- Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users in a clear, patient, and professional manner.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or CCNA certifications are highly preferred given the local demand for verified expertise.
