Particularly vibrant in the Hisar and Sirsa regions, Gangaur is dedicated to Goddess Gauri (Parvati). It is celebrated in March or April (Chet Sudi-3) by women who pray for the well-being of their husbands or for a good spouse.
- The Vibe: Colorful processions move through the city with beautifully decorated idols of Ishar (Shiva) and Gangaur.
- Tradition: Women dress in traditional Haryanvi attire, sing folk songs, and eventually immerse the idols in water.
