A 26-year-old woman from Bithmara village was apprehended by Hisar police for allegedly planning to kill her husband. Acting on a tip-off, police recovered an illegal country-made pistol and live cartridges from her. Investigations revealed she had allegedly procured the weapon through an acquaintance to remove her husband following domestic disputes and an extramarital relationship.

Police are investigating the suspicious death of a garment trader named Pradeep at “Hotel Relax” in Hisar. Preliminary findings suggest he may have taken a stamina-enhancing injection during an encounter with a female friend, after which his health deteriorated rapidly. Authorities are currently conducting forensic tests to determine if the substance was toxic or if there was foul play.

A Hisar court recently sentenced three residents of Rawalwas Kalan village to life imprisonment for the murder of a man named Suresh. The crime, which dates back to 2021, stemmed from a long-standing dispute over the distribution of canal water. The court also imposed a fine of ₹1 lakh on each convict.

On February 14, 2026, Hisar police arrested a notorious gangster, Pawan alias Musa, following a late-night gunfight near Peerawali village. Musa, who has over 35 criminal cases against him, sustained a leg injury during the encounter. A police officer’s life was saved by his bulletproof jacket during the exchange. Musa was reportedly involved in several robberies and had previously posed as a cybercrime officer to dupe doctors.

In a major crackdown, an MBBS doctor from Hisar (identified as Ekant Yogdutt, alias “Dr. Morphen”) was arrested at Delhi airport after arriving from China. He is alleged to be the mastermind behind a massive online investment scam involving over ₹209 crore (suspected to exceed ₹400 crore). The network operated through fake trading websites and targeted victims across the country, including account holders in Jammu and Kashmir.
