Located 26 km from Hisar, this is one of North India’s oldest and most impregnable fortresses, popularly known as Prithviraj Chauhan ka Qila. It covers 30 acres on a 52-foot-high mound and was once the center for 80 surrounding forts and a major sword-manufacturing hub. Key attractions inside include the Barsi Gate (a masterpiece of Sultanate architecture) and the Ghora Ghar (Horse Stable).
